📋 Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using BOTALKS ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

BOTALKS is a mobile client application that enables real-time voice conversations with AI through your own OpenClaw Gateway. The App acts as an interface between you and your self-hosted AI gateway.

Important: BOTALKS does not provide AI processing services directly. You are responsible for setting up and maintaining your own OpenClaw Gateway, including any associated costs (hardware, AI API keys, network, etc.).

3. Requirements

• A compatible device (iOS 16+ or Android 8+)
• An active internet connection
• Your own OpenClaw Gateway instance
• You must be at least 13 years old (14 in South Korea)

4. Subscription & Pricing

• BOTALKS is a subscription service: Monthly (₩3,900/mo or $2.99/mo) or Annual (₩29,900/yr or $19.99/yr)
• There is no free version or free trial
• Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• The subscription provides access to the App only; AI processing costs depend on your Gateway configuration
• Refund requests are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play per their respective policies

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for illegal, harmful, or abusive purposes
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the App
• Use automated systems to access the App
• Transmit malicious content through voice input
• Redistribute or resell the App

6. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, and code are owned by BOTALKS / Jinhee Lee. AI-generated conversation responses are provided as-is and do not constitute professional advice.

7. Limitation of Liability

• The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• AI responses may be inaccurate; do not rely on them for critical decisions
• We are not responsible for the availability or performance of your OpenClaw Gateway
• Maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the App

8. Service Availability

BOTALKS is a client application. Its functionality depends on your OpenClaw Gateway being operational. We are not responsible for downtime caused by your Gateway or network configuration.

9. Updates

We may release updates to improve the App. Major updates that change functionality will be communicated through the App Store listing.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to discontinue the App with reasonable notice.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Seoul, Korea.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated through the App Store listing.
